The first Edge Of Sanity LP hits hard, but somehow isn’t a widely known classic death metal album. Not even sure why that is, but for me (the weirdo prog nerd that I am), this album hits some chords within my soul and I am not even sure why. Straight up death metal, but there’s an interesting undercurrent going on that I can’t quite get my brain around. Brutal, yes. Also fascinating.
2024 European reissue on Century Media, remastered by Dan Swanö himself and sounds great.
