My love of Hawkwind appears to have no end. Even in the midst of the 1980s… a time when anything prog or space would be waffling, Hawkwind remains strong in content depite their increasingly underground status. This album, based upon Michael Moorcock’s Elric Chronicles, is an ethereal masterpiece, 1980s production aesthetics be damned.
2015 UK (blue vinyl) reissue on Let Them Eat Vinyl. A very nice 2xLP release that plays at 45rpm for max fidelity and housed in a gatefold sleeve. Full on tits, y’all.
