80s production sensibilities aside, this is a pretty damn good progressive psychedelic rock album for 1988! I sense the band was working through a time of dire uncertainty, but the content of this LP remains strong. Co record, if not totally overlooked in the book of Hawkwind.
2014 UK reissue on Back On Black with a bonus LP full of live cuts and housed in a nice gatefold sleeve.
