I am probably not as up on current metal bands as I would have been at many times in my life, but High Command is one of those recent bands that sort of hit me. Hailing from Worcester, Massachusetts these fellas play a tight, dirty, thick band of thrash metal that takes in a bit of hardcore punk. Theu dropped a few demos prior to this, but Desolation is the band’s debut and it’s fucking great.
2019 US pressing on Southern Lord and it’s awesome.
