Ozric Tentacles have a lot of albums and from the surface, they largely share a percussive liquidity that is unique to this band as an overall aesthetic. They are fantastic players and composers, crafting music that is engaging, spacey, easy to listen to nearly anytime, and still complex and layered. I landed this and their 1986 LP “There Is Nothing” and it’s got me thinking that I could definitely do with a few more Ozric Tentacles LPs in the ‘ol collection.
2023 UK pressing on Kscope and it’s a beauty.
