Having already released three fine albums under the moniker Blues Creation, the band decided to part ways with the implied restriction of the “blues” in their name and simplified to just Creation. The band is a little less freaky that the Black Sabbthian “Demon & Eleven Children@, but they are still hitting it hard with some killer jams. Not sure if just me, but has shades of Mountain, Kiss, and even early Wishbone Ash. Despite some pause over the cover, it’s undoubtedly a killer album. Produced by none other that Yuya Uchida.
1975 Japan pressing on Express. I accidentally bought this version on Discogs even though I had already had the Australian reissue on Survival Research… both are excellent, but not turning away this primo original.
