After their debut album sort of flopped, Genesis nearly called it a day, but then resolved to carry on. And carry on they did! Trespass is an awesome collection of music with the band really going hard with complex arrangements and intricate melodies. It’s no wonder why Genesis is considered a critical force in the evolution of progressive rock. Great LP!
1978 US reissue on ABC Records and sounds good.
