Released soon after Hawkwind’s Onward album, this is a collection of recordings done in recent years. A few new tracks, a couple of remixed songs from Onward, a couple rare tracks, and a lot of new recordings/renditions of older tunes. What makes these older songs interesting is that the band had spent a bit of time reworking them live over the years and these arrangements are unique studio recordings. Great collection and a fantastic companion album to Onward.
2014 UK pressing from Back On Black and it’s great. I was fortunate enough to land this and Onward together at a record show some years back, brand new for $20 each. A purchase that I do not regret.
