Having successfully tapped into North American market, Loudness now have the full force of Atco Records behind them. This album is excellently produced and mostly pretty damn good. The band make a few commercial overtures, but it’s overall a solid metal album.
1986 US pressing on Atco Records. Interesting note is that this was titled Shadows Of War with a different cover upon its original Japan release. It was then retitled, repackaged, and the running order changed around with the original title track name changed from Shadows Of War to Ashes In The Sky… same music, same lyrics.
