This album represents another shift in Magma’s sound as the band move from long, dark, and epic compositions to shorter songs that are easier to digest, for the first side anyway. The second track De Futura take up the entirety of the second side and is massive, hah. This album threw me for a mini upon first listen, but it’s excellent!
2015 French reissue on Jazz Village and it’s a sub-weet!
