About 20 years ago I used to work woth a friend that was about 10-12 years older than me and we’d talk music all the time. He turned me into so much 60s and 70s stuff I wasn’t familiar with and Mahogany Rush was absolutely one of those bands. He had other stuff but was always looking for their first album, Maxoom (this). He would also constantly pull killer records for me when we’d go to record shows together and I hold a great deal of respect toward this friend’s tastes. I did finally find a copy of Maxoom for myself and think of my friend every time I come across it in my collection. Great album. Great band!
1974 US repress on 20th Century Records. Cover has seen better days, but otherwise no complaints about the LP.
