The first Metal Church is my go to album when I want to remember what Seattle sounded like before grunge. Not that there wants all kinds of stuff going on throughout, but this album personifies what I thought of heavy metal in Seattle before everything changed. And hot damn, it’s a fucking masterpiece!
1985 US pressing on Elektra. It’s been around, but somehow the wear is a bit of the charm. Love this copy!
