Even though I own this record, I haven’t played it much as I’ve always read that this is the beginning of a quality dip for Osibisa’s studio albums, which have all been excellent up to this point It’s true, this one is not as good, and there are some cheesy tracks in the first side, but there are really nice cuts woven in throughout and the flip side seems very good through and through. Not likely to become a favorite, but also a good time every so often.
Edit: Second side of this album is fantastic,
1974 US pressing on Warner Bros Records.one of the few Osibisa LPs I don’t purchase at A-1 Records in NYC, haha! Looks like I found this at Moondog Records in Las Vegas, which surprises me a bit, but whatevs.
