I have a distinct memory of seeing this album cover on the wall at a record shop when I was about 14 years old and wondering what the heck I was looking at. I was equally shaken at what the band sounded like… so fucking weird for my early 80s teenage brain, but it stuck. I don’t listen to the Butthole Surfers a lot, but love to give this shit a spin every so often.
1991 US reissue on Alternative Tentacles. Retitled “Brown Reason To Live” for some reason, hah. Sounds good anyway.
