I am an unapologetic Exodus fanboy. Since I first heard Bonded By Blood from a friend back in 1985, I’ve been hooked on the H-Team riffage, the one and only Tom Hunting, and of course the legendary Paul Baloff. Was exited about the band’s initial return with Baloff back at the mic, but all seemed lost when he passed away suddenly in 2002. Amazingly Zetro returned to the band to pick up the torch and they kicked out this slab of thrash! Tempo Of The Damned is an awesome comeback album, but perfectly fits into the band’s “flawed masterpiece”. What I mean is it’s about 50%-60% superior thrash cuts with the remaining tunes being drastically less good stuff. I still love it though! I’m down with these fellas until the end, I believe.
