Oranssi Pazuzu was the last band I saw live before the pandemic hit. It was in a small club in Seattle, either in late November or early December 2019. They had just released their Live at Roadburn album, and a few months later, in April 2020, this album came out right as the pandemic intensified. It's a memorable experience, and while I was already a huge fan, this album stuck with me because of the unusual timing. The album is haunting, heavy, and completely psychedelic—a remarkable piece of work and the last thing they would release until 2024.
2020 US pressing on Nuclear Blast Records. Awesome album and looks nice. Notable surface noise for such a mint album vs the previous Svart/20 Buck Spin releases which have all been noiseless.
