Released just this month, this marks Oranssi Pazuzu’s first album since 2020, and it's a dark beauty! While I’m loving the album, I’m not sure vinyl is the best format for it, given the insanely heavy bass that's more prominent on the digital version I’ve been blasting in my car. That said, the LP still sounds fantastic, despite the slightly diminished low frequencies. It’s a gnarly, abrasive, and layered record—almost reminds me of Skinny Puppy in some ways. Still taking it all in, but I’m loving what I’m hearing so far.
