Pentagram - Review Your Choices (1999)

Review Your Choices marks a pivotal moment in Pentagram’s career. With guitarist Victor Griffin and bassist Martin Swaney having departed, the band faced significant lineup changes. Though Black Widow Records had reportedly approached Pentagram about recording new material with their 1980s lineup, that wasn’t feasible. Instead, Joe Hasselvander took on the challenge of playing all instruments—guitar, bass, and drums. Remarkably, he pulls it off with skill. While this album may not be considered one of Pentagram’s very best, it remains a solid slab of doom, delivering the genre’s signature weight despite the stripped-down lineup.

2020 Finnish reissue on Svart Records and it’s a gem. I sort of prefer the original artwork of this one, but this is a really good alternate cover and definitely better than other versions I’ve seen out there.
