Fast forward all the way to 2014 and Satan has reformed and released the amazing Life Sentence album. Not only has the complete classic OG lineup of this band reformed (including singer Brian Ross), but it absolutely crushes! It literally exudes the best of the original NWOBHM sound that Satan embodies and build on that with some influences across the entirely different landscape from last time the band was active. It’s actually brilliant and one of the best metal comeback albums I can think of. This album, by a low key NWOBHM band features the same lineup as their debut (all members) and it absolutely slays! I literally cannot think of any other band that has pulled this off! And they are still going! Gods among men, y’all!
2019 reissue on French label Listenable Records and it smokes.
