Skipping ahead because I do not own Schizophrenia on vinyl (yet),,Sepultura’s third full length album Beneath The Remains is pretty much epic thrash metal and proto death metal greatness. The first album that the band recorded after signing with Roadrunner Records and recorded in the US with infamous death metal producer Randy Burns. Absolutely balls!
2020 European expanded edition reissue on Roadrunner Records. Original album sounds great. Second LP tracks are a mixed bag of early versions of the tracks, production early mixes, etc. Cool, but nothing to write home about.
