Slayer - Haunting The Chapel (1984)

Absolutely flawless EP and second release by Slayer. This was the band effectively demonstrating that they would be known as one of the most visceral forces of thrash metal to emerge from the 1980s, and they lived up to the promise. While Chemical Warfare is rightfully the most known track here, the title track one of my favorite of all of the band’s deep cuts, so to speak.

1984 US pressing on Metal Blade Records. Had this since the 1980s but did get it used and it’s seen a little more action than I’d like.
