With their fourth studio album, Vol. 4, Black Sabbath explored new musical territory, pushing their creative boundaries while remaining firmly grounded in their heavy, doom-laden roots. The album marks a transitional moment for the band, as they experimented with new textures and arrangements that added depth to their sound. A unique moment in the band’s run, without a doubt! Much to love here!
1972 US pressing from Warner Bros. I’ve had this copy since high school and it’s a solid player. Only bummer is my copy is missing the pages of the insert/booklet thing…
