Exodus - Exhibit B: The Human Condition (2010)

This is the follow up to the band’s 2007 The Atrocity Exhibition: Exhibit A, and in many way it’s a superior album from its conceptual predecessor. However, the band took an odd misstep in 2008 by releasing an album titled Let There Be Blood, which was a re-recording of their classic debut Bonded By Blood and meant as a tribute to the band’s original vocalist Paul Baloff who passed away in 2002. Many fans took the rendition as unnecessary and even disrespectful and I think it sunk any chance of Rob Dukes having a continuing career with Exodus. Steve “Zetro” Souza would return to the fold for the next album, marking the end of Dukes’ run with the band. While I hold no ill feeling toward Dukes, I was (and am) happy to see Zetro come back as it gives Exodus the historic legitimacy they deserved at this period in their career. They are still crushing it with Zetro to this day.

2024 German reissue from Nuclear Blast Records and it sounds great.
