As the title indicates, this is a collection of Loop recording sessions with the BBC for John Peel’s radio show between 1987-90. As anticipated, the album features layered synths, pulsating basslines, and hypnotic rhythms that showcase the band’s mastery of psychedelic and shoegaze elements. It’s quite good, honestly.
2017 UK Record Store Day reissue on the Reactor label. Pretty nice release, all around.
