This album is one of those questionable releases that were likely arranged without the band’s knowledge or consent, yet somehow slip into “official“ status. It seems to be a collection of live and studio tracks from across the Yardbirds 1964-67 era (I believe). Honestly, I can’t find a lot of accurate information about the recordings themselves, only release info. I have a Jimi Hendrix album from the same label that’s equally ambiguous.
1982 Swiss pressing on the Astan. Seems this was primarily distributed as a picture disc, but with some also on black vinyl (and cassette). Fortunately, this is the black vinyl and sounds quite good for what it is.
