Can - Future Days (1973)

Correctly considered a masterpiece of the genre, the album marks a significant evolution in the band’s sound, leaning into a more atmospheric and ambient direction. With an emphasis on hypnotic rhythms, ethereal textures, and Damo Suzuki’s understated vocal presence, the album evokes a dreamlike, otherworldly quality. Objectively brilliant and a lovely album for the ears.

2014 US reissue from Spoon Records/Mute, as part of the band’s excellent reissue series of the time.
