About Face is David Gilmour’s second solo album and hit first after the dissolution of Pink Floyd after The Final Cut. The musical landscape has changed a ton since his 1978 debut, but Gilmour has adapted to the times and still managed to retain his unmistakable sound, through and through. I’ve heard this one get dumped on a bit, but I’ve always been fine with it.
1984 US pressing from Columbia. Nice clean copy that I recently picked up to replace my previous copy that had much of the front ripped off over Mr. Gilmour’s face.
