Electric Sun is a power trio formed by guitar master Uli John Roth after his departure from the Scorpions. This album is quite fantastic, especially if you appreciate Uli’s work with the Scorpions, or artists like Hendrix, Frank Marino, etc. His playing is classically influenced, yet soulful and warm. One of a kind guitarist, without a doubt. Only tough bit is Uli’ signing style… it’s an acquired taste, but if you can get past that, you’re in for a beautiful album.
1979 German pressing from Brain. Picked this up in Reading, England a few years back and am still kind of stoked about it.
