Nightwalkers is the fifth project by Mirror, the collaborative venture of Andrew Chalk and Christoph Heemann, joined on this album by multi-instrumentalist Andreas Martin. The album boasts rich, atmospheric soundscapes that blend experimental, ambient, and minimalistic elements. Unlike some of their earlier drone-based works, Nightwalkers introduces subtle rhythmic components, particularly evident in the second and fourth untitled tracks, adding a dynamic layer to the immersive listening experience. The compositions evoke mysterious and expansive sonic landscapes, inviting listeners into a suspended, almost hallucinogenic auditory journey.
