While the reviews over at Prog Archives are less than enthusiastic about Nektar’s less challenging direction with Magic Is The Child, it remains a pretty solid album with a lot of engaging compositions and almost some hard rock moments, which is less expected from Nektar… almost Blue Öyster Cult vibes at times. While not prime Nektar, the album is still great.
