Inspired by Andrei Tarkovsky’s 1979 film Stalker, this album evokes a sense of mystery, isolation, and the unknown, immersing listeners in a sonic environment that feels both desolate and otherworldly. Rich’s ethereal drones and organic textures blend seamlessly with Lustmord’s brooding, subterranean atmospheres, creating a soundscape that is both meditative and unsettling. I’m a huge fan of the Tarkovsky’s work, so this was a no brainer for me. Absolutely worth your time.
