Santana’s untitled third album, also known as Santana III, is a fiery and adventurous record that captures the band at their creative peak, blending Latin rock, blues, jazz, and psychedelic influences. It was the last album to feature the classic lineup, including guitarist Neal Schon, who joined Carlos Santana in crafting some of the band’s most electrifying dual guitar work. Absolutely among their best releases, the band is on fire at this point.
1971 US pressing on Columbia and it’s a road warrior, but clean as fuck.
