I am way too close to this album tomatoes anything even remotely objective about what’s happening here. I will tell you this… Dimension Hatröss is a masterwork unlike anything else created in the 1980s or since. Odd, discordant, psychedelic, and otherworldly, this is a science fiction masterpiece rolled into a progressive thrash metal album. If my desert island picks, this is an easy number 1. I simply could not live without this album.
1988 US pressing from Noise International. Picked this up at Cellophane Square in a shopping mall called Bellevue Square back in 1988-89 for 99¢. Dimension Hatröss was the 3rd CD I ever bought in my life, so didn’t seem like a big deal getting the LP for so cheap at the time. So glad I did and that it actively plays so good!
