A landmark album in the development technical death movement, Piece Of Time combines blistering speed, complex song structures, and jazz-inspired technicality, setting it apart from many of the more straightforward death metal albums of its time. Critical, if you are into technical progressive death metal with heavy elements of jazz/fusion. Hah! Fantastic album.
2019 US/EU reissue from Season Of Mist. Very nice pressing that plays at 45rpm and still fits the entire on one LP, but with superior sound.
