Besombes-Rizet was a French progressive electronic duo. The album, Pôle, is an expansive and surreal journey through experimental soundscapes, blending elements of krautrock, musique concrète, and early ambient music. The original album spans two LPs and remains a criminally overlooked progressive electronic masterwork.
2015 French (reduced?) reissue from Gonzaï Records/Feedback. While the sound is good, the single LP release omits half of the album - which is a travesty. Still an enjoyable release, but I do not recommend this pressing. It did come with a download code for the full album though… Full version at the link.
