This was originally released as a two song 7-inch single and marks Blitzkrieg’s first non-demo release and despite having only three songs, it packs a massive punch. Most metal people know this as the release with the original recording of the song “Blitzkrieg” having been famously covered by Metallica in 1984, but “Buried Alive” and expanded to include “Inferno”, both of which are equally excellent and all have that awesome fucking raw NWOBH energy. Hails to singer Brian Ross… a true living legend of heavy metal.
This is part of the 2021 German reissue of A Time Of Changes (1985) from High Roller Records. While I already had the 2017 Back On Black copy that sounds great, the lure of a High Roller pressing with the Buried Alive single was too much for me to resist. No regrets!
