Can’s Complete Peel Sessions was released on CD in 1995 and features some amazing live in the studio recordings from 1973-1975 with legendary BBC radio host and engineer, John Peel. The album captures the band at their improvisational best, blending hypnotic grooves, experimental soundscapes, and that unmistakable krautrock energy. It’s less polished than their studio material, but that’s part of the charm— like stepping into the room with them as they channel pure sonic experimentation. Absolute brilliance!
2014 unofficial UK/EU pressing, under the Strange Fruit label name, but not legitimate. However, this 2xLP release sounds fantastic! Found this at Amoeba Music in San Francisco back in 2016 and still stoked about it.
