Having only recently acquired this album, this is my first time ever hearing This Is Creation. I had sort of suspected the band would move further into the jazz/fusion direction they were headed back on Super Rock At High Voltage, but this feels more blues rock with shades of funk, and not the heavy kind, haha. Regardless of direction, it’s a nice record and the live nature of the studio recording captures the cool energy of the band playing live in the studio.
2012 French reissue from semi-legitimate label Klimt Records. I’d rather have an original but this release sounds good.
