Within The Realm Of A Dying Sun represents one of Dead Can Dance’s most dramatic and atmospheric works, blending neoclassical, gothic, and darkwave elements into a grand, almost sacred experience. Easily one of my favorite albums by DCD and shines as brightly today as it did the first time I heard, and was blown away by it so many years ago.
2019 UK reissue from 4AD and it’s a gem.
