Axioma Ethica Odini masterfully combines the band’s black metal roots with their evolving progressive influences, creating a dynamic and richly textured listening experience. It features a seamless interplay of aggression and melody, highlighting Enslaved’s ability to push boundaries while maintaining their core identity in a way that feels natural and unforced. A very fine album from one of my favorite active progressive metal bands.
