Klaus Schulze - Mirage (1977)

Mirage is a deeply atmospheric and introspective journey, consisting of two extended pieces: “Velvet Voyage” and “Crystal Lake.” Schulze’s pioneering use of synthesizers, sequencers, and layered textures creates a meditative soundscape that is both haunting and hypnotic. For me, the mid to late 70s is peak Klaus Schulze from a pioneering and creative standpoint and Mirage is where it’s at.

1977 Benelux pressing from Ariola. I stumbled across a number of Klaus Schulze LPs while working in Brussels a few years ago and this is one of them.
