KTL 3 is the third album by KTL, the collaborative project between Stephen O’Malley of Sunn O))) and Peter Rehberg, label head of Editions Mego. The album continues their exploration of experimental soundscapes, blending elements of drone, noise, and ambient music with an unsettling, cinematic quality. It’s a brief affair with only two songs on a single side of the record, but the material is strong enough that it feels just right. Probably my favorite of the first three KTL studio releases.
