This album is a journey through dark passageways and underworld kingdoms, or at least that’s the feel I get when I listen to it. Features contributions from Buzz Osborne of the Melvins, Adam Jones of Tool, and Aaron Turner of Isis, which heightens the presence of guitars in some interesting ways across the album. An immersive and atmospheric piece of work that is absolutely worth exploring.
2022 German reissue from Pelagic Records and as part of the incredible The Others box set. Four individual albums of material based around the [OTHER] sessions, for a total of nine LPs in all. I’ll continue to post for each of these as there’s no way I am tackling this box set in one go.
