Hopeless Hopes is the debut album from Quebec technical death metal merchants Martyr. Despite wielding incredible depth in playing and composition, the band seemed to fly under the radar… which seemed typical in the weird for metal 1990s. It’s a great record and should get more attention it has received over the years. That cover though… fine art, I believe.
