Following in the path of Emerson, Lake, & Palmer and Isao Tomita, this is Mekong Delta’s shot at reimagining Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures At An Exhibition suite. Mekong Delta’s rendition is loaded with blazing riffs, intricate solos, and a driving intensity that breathes new life into the original compositions. Overall it’s a great album and I do enjoy it, but not one that I listen to a lot. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone interested in a heartfelt and top quality collision of classical and metal.
