Conference Of The Birds consists of two extended tracks, “At Giza” and “Flight of the Eagle,” which together run for approximately 33 minutes. Like their debut. the compositions feature Al Cisneros’s hypnotic bass lines and meditative vocals, complemented by Chris Hakius’s steady, trance-inducing drumming for a minimalist yet immersive listening experience. The album blends elements of stoner rock, psych, and doom, resulting in a sound that is both heavy and meditative. While very similar to Variations On A Theme, I find Conference Of The Birds just a bit deeper in the vibes department. Great release!
