Hailing from Geelong, Australia, ORB takes a minimalist approach to Black Sabbath, swirled in with late 1960s fuzzed-out psychedelia vibes that give them a unique sound in a sea of derivatives. Gritty yet melodic, with just enough experimental tilt to keep things fresh without losing its raw edge. Not saying these fellas get an award for originality, but this is some cool shit.
Bonus points for all the negative Amazon reviews from buyers thinking they were receiving a new record by psychedelic electronic act The Orb… who are great as well.
