Run To The Light is Trouble’s third LP and you can sense an impending shift in their sound which will hit big with their 1990 self-titled album. However, this album straddles their 80s doom fused with NWOBHM type vibes in the best kind of way and I can’t get enough of it!
1987 US pressing on Metal Blade Records/Enigma. I landed this OG pressing from a guy at a record show that was selling off his (awesome) personal collection. I remember talking music with the guy and he had solid tastes + sold me primo original LPs by Motörhead, Candlemass, and of course Trouble. Never saw him again, but sometimes think about the great conversation and the epic haul, haha! Occasionally, the chase and the catch are equally excellent.
