Battiato - Pollution (1972)

Franco Battiato’s Pollution album blends experimental rock, electronic sounds, and avant-garde influences into a conceptual work that explores themes of environmental decay and societal alienation. Following the unconventional approach of his debut, Fetus, the album features layered synthesizers, distorted vocals, and unpredictable shifts in structure that reflect Battiato’s interest in pushing musical boundaries. I would strongly recommend this to anyone interested in early progressive electronic, psych, or experimental music. Beautiful sounds.

2017 Italian reissue from RCA/Sony Music Italy.
