Ardour is the 1976 debut album by American progressive rock anct Ethos. The album features a nice of complex compositions and some tight playing. The album is very much a product of its time, with heavy guitar, lots of synthesizers, and a bombastic sound overall. Not a record I play a lot, but it has its charm, without a doubt.
1976 US pressing from Capitol Records. I remember buying this at a record show and talking to the guy about the penciled graph lines on the front cover, but he didn’t know either, haha. Plays great!
